Hi I'm Amy B. I am the Staffing and Recruitment Manager and have now been with SEP for a year! I am responsible for ensuring that the staffing team provide the casual staff requirements on all our events throughout the UK. Our team are responsible for recruiting all casual staff, communicating and booking staff into events in an often challenging, high pressured environment.
Prior to working for SEP I was a SSgt in the British Army and served 15 years both in the UK and overseas.
Whilst I am not from an events background I enjoy organising events, and planning trips in my personal life and attending festivals and concerts. Outside of work my passion is to travel, I am always planning my next trip away. I enjoy socialising with friends and family, playing Netball, watching football and going to the gym.
Hi I'm Pam. I came to SEP a couple of years ago with fifteen years experience working in the events sector...so I hope I have half an idea of what I'm doing! And what do I do? Amongst other things, I'm responsible for seasonal strategic planning for casual staff, casual team recruitment and staffing for events in the Northern region, and making fantastic coffee! I'm frequently active on events as I believe meeting staff out in the field is vital to building relationships within our teams.
Outside work I have a keen interest in music and can be found around the folk music scene with my husband, an accomplished guitarist and songwriter. I have two grown up sons. I'm keen on organically grown food, much of which we produce on our own allotment, and environmental issues. In summer you will frequently find me walking through the Yorkshire Dales, my favourite part of the country.
Hi, my name is Amy and I have worked with SEP since 2014! I started off as a casual and since then I have been a staff manager out at events, done lots of traffic management and tickets and I am now based in the Head Office at HMY helping with the social media side of things. My favourite event that we do is Download!
I have two cats called Janis and Joan, two chickens and when I get some spare time I like to read and draw.
Hi I'm Taz I've only been with the company since April '19 but I love it. I drove HGV all around the UK for the previous 26 years.
My pastime is cars and motorbikes. My fav colour is purple. I love dogs especially Molly the Springer Spaniel.
Hi there, Austin here. I joined SEP in August 2015 having previously had 10 years in the recruitment industry. I started as a casual member of staff during the weekends, which I loved! I am currently Head of Recruitment for the North West at venues such as the Etihad Stadium, Aintree and the Warehouse Project. I'm also responsible for the recruitment and staffing of the Tracsis Traffic and Data nationwide surveys.
My main passion outside of work is sport and travel, with Sri Lanka and Brazil being my favourite destinations.
